EUROLANGUAGE Agency is fully committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of its clients' data. This statement describes our principles, obligations, and measures that we implement to ensure the highest level of protection for personal data and confidential information, in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Croatia and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
Personal data includes all data that directly or indirectly identifies the identity of a client—a natural or legal person. This includes, but is not limited to: company name or full name, registered office or home address, email address, telephone number, OIB, and any other data provided in the course of business cooperation. Confidential information includes all information we may learn in the course of providing our services, which must be protected from unauthorized access. This specifically includes the content of documents submitted for translation, business correspondence, contractual provisions, financial data, medical records, legal documents, and all other materials entrusted to us for processing.
Our agency guarantees that personal data and confidential information will be accessible only to authorized personnel directly involved in the performance of the requested service. Every member of our team—including full-time employees, external translators, and collaborators—is required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before being granted access to any client materials. Access to data is restricted on a "need-to-know" basis, meaning that each individual has access only to the information necessary for them to perform their assigned task.
We guarantee that all communication established and conducted between our agency and the client—whether by phone, email, a website contact form, courier service, or any other means of communication—will remain strictly confidential. The content of the communication will not be disclosed, forwarded, or otherwise made available to third parties without the client's express written consent, except in cases where it is legally required.
We reserve the right to keep all received communications and documentation in a secure archive for the purpose of providing quality service, resolving any potential complaints, and fulfilling legal obligations. All documents are stored on secure servers with restricted access and are retained in accordance with the retention periods prescribed by applicable law. Upon expiration of the legally required retention period or at the client's express request, the documentation is permanently and irretrievably destroyed. We are committed to not disclosing or making the contents of the stored documentation available to third parties.
To ensure our clients remain anonymous, EUROLANGUAGE does not publish references or a list of clients with whom it currently works or has worked in the past. The protection of our clients' confidential data and identities is an essential characteristic of the translation industry and a fundamental principle of our business. Any references or recommendations are published exclusively with the client's express prior consent.
For the purpose of data protection, we implement the following measures: using encrypted communication channels for document transfer, regularly updating security systems and antivirus protection, and restricting physical and digital access to the premises and systems where client data is stored, regular employee training on data protection and established procedures for handling security incidents.
Our website uses cookies exclusively for the purpose of improving the user experience and analyzing site traffic. Cookies do not collect personal data that could identify an individual user without their explicit consent. Users can manage cookie settings at any time through their web browser or via the cookie management tool on our site.
In accordance with the GDPR, every client has the right to request access to their personal data that we process, the correction of inaccurate data, the erasure of data ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, and the transfer of data to another data controller. You can direct all requests regarding your personal data to info@eurolanguage.hr, and we will respond within the legally required 30-day period.
For any questions, requests, or comments regarding privacy and personal data protection, please contact us at: email info@eurolanguage.hr, by phone at +385 (0)1 38 20 122, or by mail at Kranjčevićeva 14, 10000 Zagreb.
